ANDREA POMPILIO BIOGRAPHY
Born and raised in Tokyo between Italian father and Japanese mother. Andrea Pompilio, as known as Andy, moved to Italy after studying in an International school in Tokyo, which allowed him fluent command in English, Japanese, and Italian as a youth. While going to high school and college in Italy, he worked as a freelance journalist, contributing articles to fashion magazines/papers in Japan.

Upon his return to Japan, he conducted activities across national boundaries as a press journalist and a photographer by providing news photos to media in Italy, Spain, and the US. After achieving his carrier as a journalist, Andy established a company which designs promotional plans, PR and events for global brands and corporations, such as Kartell, JM Weston, Coach, Giorgio Armani…just to name a few.

From these rich experience, Andy has acquired excellent communication skills and practical business presentation ability in addition to his warm nature and the distinct passion to share excitements with anyone who wishes to have them.

With his international background, abundant experience and his unique character, Andy now delivers “fun” and “important messages” in his very own way to Japan, through hosting the Saturday brunch hour show on J-Wave, MODAISTA, as he continues to travel across the globe.
